Woman cited for negligent operation, speeding on I-91 in Westminster

WESTMINSTER — A New Hampshire woman was arrested Sunday after she was caught driving 35 mph over the speed limit on Interstate 91, authorities said.

Colleen Ross, 52, of Keene, New Hampshire, was charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle and excessive speed, according to the Windham County Sheriff’s Office.

Sgt. Norton of the Windham County Sheriff’s Office conducted the stop after Ross’s vehicle was observed traveling at 100 mph in a 65 mph zone at about 11:04 a.m. on April 23.

Following the arrest, Ross was released on a citation to appear in the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division, on June 25.

In addition to the criminal charges, she received a traffic ticket for the civil speeding violation.

There was no bail set for Ross’s release.
