NORTH HAVEN — A second suspect has been arrested in connection with a January armed robbery of a Washington Avenue gas station, North Haven Police announced yesterday.

Andre De Paula, 21, was taken into custody on April 22 and faces charges of first-degree robbery with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery with a deadly weapon.

De Paula, who was already detained on unrelated charges, is now held on a $500,000 bond for his alleged involvement in the North Haven robbery.

The arrest follows a thorough investigation by the North Haven Police Department’s detectives, who have been working on the case since the robbery occurred earlier this year.
