Clinton police seek public’s help in locating missing man

CLINTON — Authorities are seeking assistance from the Clinton community in locating 40-year-old Damon Bickford, who has been missing since last night around 10 p.m.

Bickford, described as approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 205 pounds with dark hair, a brown and white beard, and blue eyes, was last seen at his home at 1665 Bangor Road.

He was wearing gray pants, a flannel shirt of an unknown color over a T-shirt, and hiking boots.

Notably, Bickford left his phone behind.

The Maine Warden Service joined the search early this morning, deploying their plane and K9 teams to the vicinity of his residence.

Sgt. Smith of the Clinton Police Department is the primary officer handling this incident.

Residents with any information about Bickford’s whereabouts or who might have seen him since his disappearance are urged to contact the Clinton Police Department immediately.

The community’s cooperation is vital in ensuring Bickford’s safe return.
