Springfield police seek help finding missing teen

SPRINGFIELD — The Springfield Police Youth Aide Bureau is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Jama Ali, a reported runaway.

Ali’s family reported him missing on April 11, marking another instance in his history of running away.

Described as approximately 5’8” and weighing 140 lbs., Ali’s current whereabouts are unknown.

The Springfield Police Department urges anyone with information on Ali’s location to contact the Youth Aide Bureau at 413-787-6360 or the department’s non-emergency number at 413-787-6300.

The police department expressed gratitude in advance for the public’s help in ensuring Ali’s safe return.
