Man arrested on multiple warrants after Bradford domestic incident

BRADFORD — Troopers with the Vermont State Police – St. Johnsbury Barracks arrested a transient man early Thursday morning on multiple warrants following a domestic assault report.

Authorities received a call about an altercation between two parties around 2:59 a.m. near the intersection of US-5 and VT-25.

Upon arrival, officers identified one of the individuals as Daniel Johnston, 43, who matched the description of the male suspect involved in the incident.

Johnston was detained along with another individual for investigatory purposes.

It was then discovered that Johnston had three active warrants for vehicle operation license suspension, petit larceny, and retail theft, all under $900.

Johnston was taken into custody without incident and cited to appear in Windsor County Superior Court on Monday, April 22, at 12:30 p.m.

He was transported to Northeast Correctional Complex and held on $400 bail.
