Man arrested for DUI, driving with a suspended license in Troy

TROY — Vermont State Police arrested a 35-year-old Johnson man on charges of DUI – Drug and operating after criminal suspension on April 20.

At approximately 5:25 p.m., authorities received a report from a concerned citizen about a man who seemed impaired in a parked vehicle at the Troy Country Store on VT Route 100.

Troopers responded to the scene and identified the man as Ryan Hill of Johnson.

During the interaction, Hill exhibited several signs of impairment.

An investigation revealed that Hill’s driver’s license was criminally suspended, barring him from operating a vehicle on public roads.

Hill was taken into custody and processed at the Vermont State Police – Derby Barracks.

He was later released with a citation to appear in Orleans County Criminal Court on June 18 at 8:30 a.m.
