Man arrested for burglary at Harlow’s Sugar House in Putney

PUTNEY — Vermont State Police apprehended a 41-year-old man for burglary at a local sugar house late Wednesday night.

Authorities said they received a call at 10:13 p.m. from the owners of Harlow’s Sugar House, after they reportedly caught Jason S.

Moul of Brattleboro breaking into their store at 556 Bellows Falls Road.

Moul was detained by the owners until law enforcement arrived.

He was then arrested and taken to the Westminster Barracks for processing.

Following his arrest, Moul was issued a criminal citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on June 25 at 8:30 a.m. to respond to the burglary charge.
