Worcester drug bust yields cocaine and knife, teen arrested

WORCESTER — Worcester Police Neighborhood Response Team officers arrested a 19-year-old man in the Castle Park area after they witnessed an alleged drug transaction on April 18.

At around 12:25 p.m., officers on Alden Street observed Gasno Saintilme allegedly exchanging small baggies of a white substance for cash.

Upon stopping and searching Saintilme, police found four individually wrapped clear knotted baggies containing what appeared to be crack cocaine and a spring-loaded knife.

Saintilme was taken into custody and is facing charges including Distribution of a Class B Substance, Possession of Class B with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of a Per Se Dangerous Weapon.

The Worcester Police Department continues to combat drug-related activities in the neighborhood as part of their ongoing enforcement efforts.
