FAIRFAX — A local man was charged with aggravated assault after a violent incident on Buck Hollow Road, authorities said.
According to the Fairfax Police Department, dispatchers received a call at approximately 9:43 p.m. on April 16 regarding an assault.
The male victim suffered serious bodily injuries after an altercation with Kole Ovitt, a resident of the same neighborhood.
Ovitt was flash cited on April 18 to appear before the Franklin County Superior Court – Criminal Division.
His court appearance is scheduled for 1 p.m. on April 19, officials stated.
The circumstances leading up to the assault are still under investigation, and further details have not been released.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward to assist with the ongoing case.
