Three arrested in Londonderry retail theft operation

LONDONDERRY — Three men have been arrested in connection with a major retail theft ring following a collaborative operation involving the Londonderry Police Department, Derry Police Department, and New Hampshire State Police.

Shakeem Harris, 25, and Kofi Griffith, 25, both from Brooklyn, NY, were arraigned this morning at the Derry District Court on charges of receiving stolen property, participating in an organized retail crime enterprise, and resisting arrest or detention.

Both men were held on preventative detention and are due to appear in court again on April 24 for a probable cause hearing.

Jaret Simpson, 30, of Hackensack, NJ, faces similar charges and is scheduled for arraignment on April 19.

Simpson is also being held on preventative detention.

As part of the investigation, the Londonderry Police Department has seized a vehicle pending a search warrant.
