Boston police seek help finding missing 16-year-old boy

BOSTON — The Boston Police Department issued a missing person alert for Joshua Echevarria, a 16-year-old boy from Dorchester, and is requesting the public’s help in locating him.

Joshua was last seen around 5 a.m. on Monday, April 15, in the vicinity of 118 Lonsdale Street.

He is an Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing around 130 pounds with a thin build, and curly shoulder-length brown hair.

His last known outfit included a red hooded sweatshirt, red sweatpants, and a red ski mask.

Authorities believe Joshua may be with his girlfriend, 15-year-old Jayla Santiago, who has been missing since Friday, April 12.

The couple was last spotted together near the Maverick MBTA station in East Boston on Sunday, April 14.

The police urge anyone with information about Joshua’s whereabouts to call 911 or reach out to C-11 Detectives at 617-343-4335.
