Norwell police investigate early morning armed robbery at 7 Eleven

NORWELL — Officers of the Norwell Police Department responded to an armed robbery at the 7 Eleven on 95 Washington Street at 4:18 a.m. on April 17.

According to the department’s press release, three male suspects entered the convenience store, brandished two handguns, and demanded cash from the clerk on duty.

Witnesses described the suspects as Hispanic, possibly Brazilian, with heights ranging between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches, and they were reportedly speaking Spanish during the incident.

The perpetrators fled the scene in a black sedan, heading toward Hingham on Washington Street.

The Norwell Police Department is actively investigating the robbery and has requested that anyone with information contact Detective Camerota or Officer LaRocco.

The public is encouraged to come forward with any relevant details to aid in the capture and prosecution of the individuals responsible for this crime.
