MORRISVILLE — A man was arrested early Saturday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence, marking his second DUI offense.

Vermont State Police say they observed 32-year-old Zachary Goodell, of Newport Center, driving erratically southbound on Vermont Route 100 around 12:56 a.m. During a traffic stop, officers noted signs of impairment while interacting with Goodell.

After conducting standard field sobriety tests, which further indicated impairment, Goodell was taken into custody.

He was transported to the Derby Barracks for processing.

Goodell was released on a citation to appear in Orleans Superior Court on April 23.
