SWANTON — A South Carolina man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a single-vehicle crash on I-89 in Swanton, according to Vermont State Police.
Troopers from the St. Albans barracks responded to the scene on April 16 at approximately 7:03 p.m. The driver, identified as Nicholas Ramos, 43, of Lexington, showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody.
Ramos was transported to the St. Albans barracks for processing.
After the processing, he was issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court – Criminal Division.
Ramos was later released to a sober adult.
