BRISTOL — A 19-year-old Bristol, NH woman was charged Tuesday with child endangerment and obstructing a police officer following the death of her two-month-old infant.

The Bristol Police Department said they responded to a call at approximately 4:37 a.m. on Friday at 26 Bayview Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers found the unresponsive infant lying on the third-floor bedroom floor.

Despite immediate life-saving efforts, the child was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

An investigation by the department’s Detective Division led to the arrest of the biological mother, Trista Thivierge, who resided at the same address.

Thivierge was arraigned at the Bristol Police Department Headquarters and released on $10,000 surety bail.

She is slated to appear in the 6th District Court on Wednesday.
