Andover man faces multiple felony charges after mailbox rampage

ANDOVER — On April 15, at approximately 6:06 p.m., Vermont State Police were called to Stigers Road following reports of a man vandalizing property and causing a disturbance.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that Lauren Mason, 30, of Andover, had allegedly uprooted two mailboxes and used one to damage a nearby residence.

The extensive destruction led to Mason’s arrest on multiple charges, including felony counts of unlawful mischief and unlawful trespass, as well as misdemeanor allegations of simple assault and disorderly conduct.

Mason was taken into custody and processed at the Westminster Barracks.

A citation was issued for Mason to appear before the Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division on April 16 at 12:30 p.m. to respond to the charges.
