Warwick arrest captures fugitive wanted for sexual battery on a child

WARWICK — The Violent Fugitive Task Force reports they successfully arrested Shaun Brunelle, 42, at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Friday, April 12.

Brunelle, who lives at 52 Riverside Avenue, was wanted as a Fugitive From Justice from Palm Beach County, Florida, where he faces charges including Sexual Battery on a Child Under 12.

This arrest also concluded without any incidents and involved coordination among multiple law enforcement agencies.

Brunelle was turned over to the Warwick Police Department shortly after his capture.
