One driver in custody after rollover crash on 293 in Manchester

MANCHESTER — A pickup truck driver was taken into custody after causing a rollover accident on 293 North, just north of exit 6, early Saturday morning.

Authorities reported that the pickup truck struck the guardrail, causing it to straddle the barrier before tipping over on its side.

A Volkswagen, unable to avoid the collision, struck the already overturned pickup.

The car driver was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following the accident.

The pickup truck driver was subjected to a roadside sobriety test and subsequently detained by police.

The specific charges against the driver are yet to be determined.

New Hampshire State Police are currently investigating the incident.
