1 min read

BERWICK — Police are intensifying their search for 44-year-old Anthony Bizzocchi, who is suspected of being involved in a series of vehicle thefts across Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.

The Berwick Police Department, along with several other law enforcement agencies, is working collaboratively to locate Bizzocchi after a string of incidents.

The investigation gained traction when a vehicle reported stolen from North Hampton, New Hampshire, was found in Berwick.

Shortly thereafter, a truck taken from Cranberry Meadow Road in Berwick was discovered abandoned in Wells.

This truck was left when yet another vehicle was stolen from the area.

Authorities have noted a common factor in the thefts: all vehicles were left unlocked with the keys or key fobs inside.

In light of these events, police are urging the public to be vigilant about securing their vehicles and keeping keys out of sight.

The Berwick Police Department is leading local efforts to apprehend Bizzocchi and is requesting that anyone with information come forward.

Individuals with potential leads are encouraged to contact Detective Shisler or Detective Reil in Berwick at 207-698-1136, option 1, or reach out to their local police department.
