THOMASTON — In a coordinated effort with the Connecticut State Police Organized Crime Task Force, the State Police Bureau of Special Investigations, and the Connecticut Department of Labor, the Thomaston Police Department has cracked down on suspected illegal commercial sexual activity.

Authorities targeted Classic Spa, Inc. located at 19 Waterbury Road following an investigation into the premises.

The operation culminated on April 11 with the execution of a search and seizure warrant.

The raid led to the arrest of four individuals on prostitution-related charges.

Bo Lin, 54, of Torrington; Christopher Lee, 68, of Winsted; Xiujuan Lin, 41, of Flushing, New York; and Aijun Zhu, 50, of Brooklyn, New York, were all taken into custody.

Lee faces additional charges of conspiracy to promote prostitution in the third degree and interfering with a search warrant.

The suspects have been released on a $10,000 bond each and are scheduled to appear at Torrington Superior Court on April 22.

In the wake of the arrests, Classic Spa, Inc. has been served a stop work order by the Connecticut Department of Labor, effectively suspending its operations.
