Sheriff’s office seeks help finding missing Turner man

TURNER — The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 35-year-old man reported missing from Turner.

Matthew Charles Smith, described as a white male, approximately 5’10” tall, weighing 210 pounds with green eyes and brown hair, has not been seen or heard from recently.

Concerns for his well-being have prompted the sheriff’s office to ask for the public’s help.

Smith is believed to be driving a grey 2023 Honda Accord with Maine license plate number 7844ZT.

The sheriff’s office and Cpl. Devon Bohacik are reaching out to anyone who may have information about Smith’s whereabouts.

Community members who might have seen Smith or have any information that could assist in the search are urged to contact the sheriff’s office at 207-753-2599.
