Framingham police investigate suspicious death

FRAMINGHAM — Authorities are investigating a suspicious death after a man was found deceased with apparent body trauma in a Framingham home last night.

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Framingham Police Chief Lester Baker announced the ongoing investigation following a report of the death that occurred at a residence on Fenwick Street.

The Framingham Police Department received an anonymous 911 call around 6 p.m. and responded to the scene.

Upon entering the home, officers discovered the body of an adult male with visible signs of trauma.

A search warrant was subsequently executed at the property.

The case has been referred to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, which is scheduled to perform an autopsy today to confirm the victim’s identity and establish the exact cause of death.

The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Framingham Police, and State Police Detectives from the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office are collaboratively conducting the investigation.

The authorities have assured that more information will be disclosed as the investigation progresses.
