Boston police seek help identifying suspect in South Boston assault

BOSTON — Boston Police detectives are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect linked to an aggravated assault in South Boston.

The incident occurred around 4:41 p.m. on March 17 in the vicinity of F Street and Tudor Street.

According to authorities, three individuals were randomly attacked by a group of five.

After the assault, the group fled the scene, heading down Tudor Street towards F Street.

Investigators are focusing on finding a white male suspect estimated to be between 30 to 40 years old.

The man is approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs about 200 pounds, and was last seen wearing aviator sunglasses, a flat brim black Celtics hat, and a black and green “Tatum” Celtics jersey with jeans.

He is also noted to have a full beard.

The Boston Police Department is diligently reviewing the facts and circumstances of the assault.
