Driver faces DUI, reckless endangerment charges involving a child in Vergennes

VERGENNES — A 23-year-old man from Bristol was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and reckless endangerment, Vermont State Police reported Tuesday.

Dylan Lussier was pulled over for multiple motor vehicle violations on New Haven Road near US Route 7 at about 5:09 p.m. Monday.

During the traffic stop, troopers noticed signs of impairment and conducted a DUI screening.

Lussier was taken into custody after the screening and further investigation revealed he was transporting a child while allegedly under the influence.

He was processed at the New Haven State Police Barracks and released to a sober adult with a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division, on a later date.
