Woman charged with DUI, endangering children in Royalton

ROYALTON — A Connecticut woman was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and reckless endangerment after Vermont State Police observed her driving erratically on Route 14 on April 8.

Siri L. Daulaire, 42, of East Lyme, CT, was pulled over near the junction of Route 14 and Route 107 at approximately 5:11 p.m. following reports of her vehicle’s erratic movements.

During the stop, troopers noted signs of impairment, leading to Daulaire’s arrest.

Troopers transported Daulaire to the Royalton Barracks for processing.

She was later released from custody.

Two children were present in the vehicle during the incident.

They were taken to the barracks and cared for until a family member arrived to pick them up.

The Vermont State Police continue to investigate the incident.
