Fair Haven woman arrested on outstanding warrants

FAIR HAVEN — A local woman was taken into custody after police discovered she was wanted on multiple arrest warrants.

Fair Haven Police Department arrested Michelle L. Bowen, 42, on April 8 after officers spotted her walking on Pleasant Street at 4:30 p.m. Bowen was sought for failing to appear in court for prior charges, including DUI drugs and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.

The arrest warrants were issued by Judge John Valente and Judge Cortland Corsones of the Rutland District Court.

Bowen had missed court appearances scheduled for Feb. 6 and the day of her arrest, April 8.

According to police, Bowen was also charged with driving with a suspended license.

Following the arrest, she was lodged at the Marble Valley Correctional Center.
