Bridgeport police arrest man with stolen loaded firearm

BRIDGEPORT — Bridgeport Police Officers Alston and Kamara arrested a 23-year-old man on Monday after he allegedly threatened someone with a stolen firearm at the PT Barnum Apartments.

The incident occurred around 6 p.m. when the victim reported the threat to the officers who were on patrol.

The police conducted an immediate investigation which led to the recovery of a stolen black Springfield 9mm firearm from Hamden.

The gun was fully loaded with 11 live rounds and ready for discharge.

Kamali Cennamo was taken into custody and has been charged with first-degree threatening, theft of a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit, and interfering with an officer.

Cennamo’s bond was set at $75,000.
