EVERETT — An Everett Police Department officer arrested three individuals and seized an unlawfully possessed ghost gun equipped with a high-capacity magazine after stumbling upon a different stolen vehicle while responding to a reported car theft last night.

Officer Nick Palermo was investigating the initial stolen vehicle report when he came across another stolen car.

A brief pursuit ensued, after which Palermo managed to apprehend all three suspects.

During the arrest, he recovered a loaded ghost gun, which is a type of firearm with no serial numbers, making it difficult to trace.

The Everett Police Department has not released the names of the suspects pending charges.

The investigation into both stolen vehicles and the possession of the ghost gun is ongoing.
