Boston drug bust nets kilos of narcotics, firearm

BOSTON — Boston Police Department’s Drug Control Units, in collaboration with the FBI Metro Boston Gang Task Force, apprehended a man on multiple drug and firearm charges following a search warrant in Dorchester, officials said.

At about 12:15 p.m., Friday, April 5, officers arrested Craig Lee, 34, of Dorchester, during an ongoing drug investigation at a residence located at 1916 Dorchester Avenue.

Authorities recovered a H&K revolver loaded with five rounds of ammunition, two kilograms of illegal drugs including cocaine and fentanyl, 37 plastic bags of crack cocaine, 29 bags of fentanyl, roughly 110 grams of Percocet, 980 fentanyl pills, two bags of marijuana, and approximately $29,688 in cash.

Drug packaging materials and scales were also seized from the location.

Lee faces charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, trafficking class A and B substances, and possession with intent to distribute class D drugs.

He is scheduled for arraignment in Dorchester District Court.
