Holbrook police, firefighters extract driver from crash into woods

HOLBROOK — Officers from the Holbrook Police Department responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Reeds Lane yesterday, where a car had veered off the road into the woods.

Upon arrival, they found the vehicle precariously positioned over a brook.

With the assistance of Holbrook Firefighters, the driver was safely extracted from the vehicle without sustaining any injuries.

Due to the challenging location of the vehicle, Lynch’s Towing was called to the scene to carefully remove the car from the wooded area.

The incident caused no significant environmental damage, and the brook remained unharmed.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.

The name of the driver has not been released, and there has been no indication of any charges at this time.

Traffic on Reeds Lane was briefly disrupted during the rescue and removal operations but has since returned to normal flow.
