WARNER — A tractor-trailer driver escaped injury after his vehicle rolled over on Interstate 89 on April 3.

State Troopers from the Troop D and Troop G barracks, alongside Warner Fire Department and Sutton, NH Volunteer Fire Department personnel, were dispatched to the scene near mile marker 21.6 at about 8:40 p.m.

They discovered the tractor-trailer on its side off the right side of the southbound lanes.

The vehicle had been carrying a full load of shingles.

The driver, Harprit Sidhu, 42, of Brampton, Ontario, was not injured.

No other vehicles were involved in the incident, which led to the closure of the travel lane for several hours during the cleanup operation.

Investigations into the crash are ongoing.

Prior to the rollover, a state trooper observed the truck passing him at a high rate of speed despite snowy conditions.

Sidhu has been cited for driving too fast for the conditions.

Authorities are seeking further information on the crash.

Witnesses or those with knowledge of the incident are encouraged to contact Trooper Kevin Belanger at (603) 451-9324.
