Lowell police locate missing 10-year-old boy

LOWELL — The Lowell Police Department announced today that Victor Chey, the missing 10-year-old boy who was last seen in the Belvidere neighborhood, has been found safe.

Earlier, authorities issued an urgent appeal to the public for assistance after Victor went missing.

He was described as 4 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 65 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a blue jacket, white shirt, and blue pants.

He was last seen at around 7:20 p.m.

The police department expressed their gratitude to all those who shared the information and aided in the search.
