Fitchburg police warn of armed robberies at area gas stations

FITCHBURG — Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a female suspect linked to a series of armed robberies at convenience stores and gas stations in the Fitchburg area, including incidents in Littleton, Westborough, and Marlborough.

The suspect is described as a female, often seen wearing a dark cap and winter jacket or a pink zip-up sweater.

In one surveillance photo, she is shown wearing high dark boots.

Authorities also identified the suspect’s vehicle as a 2018-2019 silver Subaru Crosstrek with a Connecticut license plate.

During the robberies, the suspect has allegedly informed attendants that she is armed with a firearm.

The Fitchburg Police Department issued the community advisory to keep residents informed and vigilant.
