Driver flees after crash on Everett Turnpike, later found injured

NASHUA — A driver left the scene of a motor vehicle crash on the F.E. Everett Turnpike early this morning and was later located with injuries, according to the New Hampshire State Police.

At around 8:50 a.m. on April 2, State Troopers from Troop B barracks responded to a crash in Nashua where they found a black 2013 Honda Civic on a rock embankment along the exit 2 southbound offramp.

The car appeared to have been traveling at a high rate of speed on the exit 2 northbound offramp when it veered off the road, went through a wooded area, and rolled over.

The driver had fled the scene before troopers arrived.

Investigators later identified and found the suspected driver at an address in Hudson.

The individual had injuries consistent with the crash and was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have not released the name of the suspect as the investigation continues.
