Sturbridge police seek help in late-night shoplifting case

STURBRIDGE — Police are requesting public assistance following a shoplifting incident that occurred early on March 26 at the Heritage Xtra Mart on Charlton Road.

Authorities report that two suspects were involved in the theft, which took place at approximately 2:23 a.m.

The individuals were seen operating a white Jeep Grand Cherokee with a Connecticut license plate that has been confirmed as stolen.

Accompanying the Jeep was a white Kia Spectra.

The Sturbridge Police Department has released images of the suspects and is urging anyone with information about the vehicles or the individuals to come forward.
