Marlborough woman bites guard, flees with $1,200 in stolen fragrances

MARLBOROUGH — A woman allegedly bit a security guard and fled after stealing more than $1,200 worth of perfumes, sprays, and lotions from the Macy’s at Solomon Pond Mall on March 28.

The Marlborough Police Department reported the suspect, described as a Hispanic female with a distinctive tattoo on the back of her neck, entered Macy’s for a shopping spree that turned criminal.

After the theft, security personnel attempted to intervene.

During the confrontation, the woman bit one of the guards on the shoulder, dropped the stolen goods along with her handbag, which contained drugs, and escaped in a blue vehicle.

Authorities are now seeking assistance to identify the woman.

The police urge anyone with information regarding her identity or whereabouts to contact them directly.
