Lynn man faces sex trafficking charges involving three women

REVERE — A local man was indicted on multiple counts involving sex trafficking and transportation for prostitution, authorities announced Tuesday.

Anthony Coleman, 34, from Lynn, faces three counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion and one count of transporting a person for purposes of prostitution.

Coleman was arrested on March 29 and is set to appear before Magistrate Judge M. Page Kelley in federal court in Boston at 11:30 a.m.

Details of the case remain limited, but officials have stated that the charges pertain to the trafficking of three women.

The indictment marks a significant development in the ongoing efforts to combat human trafficking in the region.

Further information is expected to be released following Coleman’s court appearance.
