Canton police seek suspects in early morning 7-11 armed robbery

CANTON — Two masked men are being sought by Canton police after an armed robbery at a 7-11 convenience store early this morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 4 a.m. at the 7-11 located at 504 Washington St. According to authorities, the suspects, possibly Hispanic or light-skinned African American, threatened the store clerk with a black gun.

One suspect, donning a blue hoodie, seized an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes, while the other, wearing a black hoodie, brandished the firearm.

Following the robbery, both men fled the scene on foot.

Investigators have a limited description of the suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.

The Plymouth County Bureau of Criminal Investigation has joined the case, working collaboratively with the Canton Police Department to process the crime scene and gather evidence.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact the Canton Police Department.

The investigation is ongoing.
