LONDONDERRY — A Massachusetts man was arrested early Saturday morning after leading New Hampshire State Police on a high-speed chase that ended with the deployment of stop sticks on Interstate 293.

Trooper Guilbeault of the #TroopB barracks clocked the vehicle, a gray 2020 Chevrolet Trax, traveling over 100 mph and failing to maintain its lane on I-93 in Londonderry at approximately 2:29 a.m.

When Guilbeault attempted to pull over the driver, he sped up and refused to stop, initiating a pursuit northward.

The chase continued at dangerous speeds, with the Trax reaching 108 mph and driving erratically.

The pursuit advanced onto I-293 in Manchester, where troopers from the #TroopD barracks placed stop sticks north of exit 7.

The stop sticks deflated two of the vehicle’s tires, bringing it to a halt at mile marker 9.2 on the northbound side of the highway.

The driver, identified as 32-year-old Jonathen Petrie from Bedford, Massachusetts, was taken into custody without further incident.

He is facing multiple charges, including reckless conduct, disobeying an officer, resisting arrest, and other violation-level offenses.

Petrie is scheduled to appear in Manchester District Court.

State Police are seeking additional information regarding the pursuit and ask anyone with information to contact Trooper Guilbeault at (603) 223-4381.
