TOPSHAM — A man was arrested on a warrant and multiple charges, including heroin possession, after a traffic stop on March 28.

Isaiah Taylor, 27, was taken into custody without incident around 10:26 a.m. on Galusha Hill Road, according to the St. Johnsbury Barracks.

Trooper Nally conducted the stop on VT Route 25 in Bradford and identified Taylor as a passenger.

The arrest followed an investigation that began on Feb. 15 when troopers suspected Taylor of violating his release conditions.

Despite efforts to locate him, Taylor remained at large until the traffic stop.

Taylor was found to be in violation of four sets of conditions and a warrant had been issued for his arrest on March 4 by Judge Elizabeth Mann.

After his arrest, Taylor was found in possession of heroin, adding to his charges.

He was lodged at the Northeast Correctional Complex in St. Johnsbury.
