Nashua police arrest Massachusetts man on theft charges

NASHUA — Robert Beauchamp, 51, of Malden, Massachusetts, was arrested by the Nashua Police Department on charges of felony Theft By Unauthorized Taking, along with two misdemeanor counts of the same charge.

The arrest stems from an incident on February 10, when Home Depot employees at 12 Coliseum Avenue reported a theft.

Surveillance footage revealed two males, including Beauchamp, attempting to leave the store with unpaid merchandise in a shopping cart.

They abandoned the cart in the parking lot after being confronted by a bystander.

Further investigation linked Beauchamp to two additional thefts at Market Basket, located at 261 Daniel Webster Highway.

Following these findings, a felony warrant for Beauchamp’s arrest was issued.

Beauchamp, who refused bail, is scheduled for a court appearance at the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court today at 1:00 p.m.
