Killington man cited for sexual assault

KILLINGTON — A New York man has been cited for sexual assault following an investigation by the Vermont State Police.

Jackson Van Wie, 28, of Elizabethtown, NY, is accused of sexually assaulting a person in Killington on Oct. 15.

After an extensive investigation, Vermont State Police issued a criminal citation to Van Wie.

He is scheduled to appear before a judicial officer at the Superior Court of Vermont, Criminal Division, in Rutland County on April 15, at 10 a.m.

As per the police policy, the identity of the victim has not been released.
