Amber Alert in East Windsor canceled after child found safe, suspect in custody

EAST WINDSOR — A missing child, Liam David Pagan, was found safe and the suspect involved in his disappearance is now in custody, police said.

The East Windsor Police Department expressed relief and gratitude to the Chicopee Police Department, Massachusetts State Police, Connecticut law enforcement agencies, and all other parties involved in the quick resolution of the Amber Alert.

The suspect was apprehended in Windsor following an incident at the Rodeway Inn in East Windsor, according to authorities.

Police reported that the suspect had removed Liam from a stolen vehicle at the inn before driving away.

The vehicle was later abandoned at a shopping plaza in Windsor.

Officials extended their sincerest appreciation to the dispatchers and law enforcement officers whose collaborative efforts led to the safe recovery of Liam and the swift arrest of the suspect.

The East Windsor Police Department was also commended for their prompt response in ensuring Liam’s safety and cooperation with authorities to facilitate his reunion with his family.
