Windham firefighters respond to two separate crashes on Route 93

WINDHAM — Windham Fire Department and Emergency Management personnel were dispatched to Route 93 southbound, just south of the Exit 3 off-ramp, for a multi-car accident early this morning.

Upon arrival, emergency responders found two separate crash scenes.

The first collision involved two vehicles, but thankfully, no injuries were reported.

The second crash, located just south of the first, involved two compact vehicles that sustained heavy damage.

In the second accident, the drivers, who were alone in their respective vehicles at the time of the incident, both suffered injuries.

The female driver of the grey vehicle received facial injuries and was transported by Windham Fire EMS to Elliot Hospital in Manchester.

The male driver of the maroon vehicle complained of chest pain and was taken to Parkland Medical Center in Derry.

All injuries were reported as non-life-threatening.

The Derry Fire Department assisted with traffic control while emergency crews worked at the scene.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation and New Hampshire State Police were also present to provide support and ensure safety during the incident.
