AUBURN — Auburn Police Department detectives, with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, apprehended 52-year-old Vince Brakton on Wednesday after he was found hiding in a wooded area off of Rochdale Street.
Brakton, wanted for a probation violation, was located by detectives around 9 a.m. and taken into custody without incident.
He is currently on parole following a 2011 stabbing incident conviction.
