Woman arrested for shooting man with BB gun at Concord homeless camp

CONCORD –– Concord Police arrested Kaitlin Cook, 34, on March 26, 2024, in connection with a shooting incident at a homeless camp in Healy Park.

Cook faces multiple felony charges, including first-degree assault and criminal threatening with a deadly weapon.

The incident occurred on March 16, when police received a call about a bleeding male found on the side of the I-93 Northbound Exit 13 on-ramp.

The man had sustained serious, life-threatening injuries from a BB gun. Investigations led to the identification of Cook as the shooter.

Cook was processed at the Concord Police Department and transported to the Merrimack County House of Corrections.

She is scheduled for arraignment at the Concord District Court on March 26.

Police urge anyone with information to contact the Criminal Investigations Division or submit tips anonymously through the Concord Regional Crimeline.
