West Springfield police seek help identifying theft suspects

WEST SPRINGFIELD — The West Springfield Police Department has issued a call for public assistance in identifying two individuals connected to a theft from a vehicle on March 8.

At around 11 a.m., a citizen reported that her car had been broken into while parked to access a local hiking trail.

The victim discovered over $500 in cash and multiple credit cards missing upon returning to her vehicle.

Surveillance footage from a nearby business captured the two suspects using the stolen credit cards shortly after the theft.

They managed to purchase nearly $3,000 worth of merchandise with the stolen cards.

Authorities are urging anyone with information that could help identify the suspects to contact Detective Rettura at (413) 263-3210 ext. 269.

Individuals may provide information anonymously.
