Kennebunk police seek help finding missing man with dementia

KENNEBUNK — The Kennebunk Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Peter Sinsabaugh, a local resident with dementia and aphasia, who was last seen this morning around 8 a.m. on Cat Mousam Road.

Sinsabaugh, who has difficulty communicating due to his condition, was walking with his dog, a white and black German Pointer.

According to the police, he was traveling west when last spotted.

He is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds, with a white beard.

He was last seen wearing a green knee-length coat, tan pants, and black shoes.

The Kennebunk Police Department urges anyone who has seen Sinsabaugh or has any information on his whereabouts to call immediately at 324-3644 ext. 1 or to dial 911.

The department emphasizes the urgency of locating Sinsabaugh to ensure his safety.
