Boston teen arrested with loaded firearm on Faneuil Street

BOSTON — Officers from the Boston Police Department’s District D-14 arrested a 17-year-old male on firearm-related charges Friday afternoon, authorities said.

At approximately 1:58 p.m., police responded to a call at 55 Faneuil Street in the Allston/Brighton neighborhood, where there was a report of an individual with a gun.

The Boston Police Operations team provided a description of the suspect to the officers, including details that the individual had displayed a firearm.

Upon arrival at the scene, D-14 officers located and apprehended the juvenile without incident.

The teen, whose identity has not been released due to his age, was found in possession of a loaded firearm.

The Boston Police Department has not provided additional details about the incident at this time.
