Portland police seek help in 1994 cold case of toddler’s murder

PORTLAND — Nearly three decades after the tragic death of 2-year-old Sarina “Pretty” Towle, the Portland Police Department is renewing its plea for public assistance in solving the unsolved case.

On the morning of March 25, 1994, Sarina was found dead in her bedroom on Danforth Street where she lived with her mother, two brothers, and her mother’s boyfriend.

Authorities have continued to withhold the cause of death as the investigation remains open.

Detectives are urging anyone with information related to the case to come forward.
